The United States Air Force has disciplined fifteen officers.

Associated Press reported that fifteen Air National Guard members faced disciplinary actions due to negligence and failure to report suspicious behavior.

The officers included a 21-year-old National Guard member who disclosed highly classified information on Discord.

Air Force Notified Congress

According to media reports, the Air Force completed its investigation into officers involved in leaking classified information and failure to notice suspicious behavior.

The report, released on Monday, unveiled Teixeira’s lone involvement in leaking classified documents via the Discord social media platform.

The report mentioned that those involved ranged from staff sergeant to colonel.

Some Removed, Some Retained

Some officers were removed from their positions and some received administrative action known as nonjudicial punishment.

Among the disciplined was Col. Sean Riley, commanding officer of the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
