Police Arrests Suspected killer of Baltimore Tech CEO

The Baltimore Police Department has arrested a suspected killer of Pava LaPere, a tech CEO. The police have yet to release further details at a news conference today. The suspect Jason Billingsley was successfully arrested after being on the run for days. 

LaPere Was Found Dead on Monday

The tech entrepreneur Pava LaPere was found dead in her apartment on Monday. LaPere was first reported missing but the police later said she died from blunt-force trauma in her apartment. A day later, police issued an arrest warrant on charges of first-degree-murder.

Billingsley Has Criminal Record

The suspect arrested named Jason Billingsley has a record of being involved in criminal activities since 2009. Billingsley was accused of committing two assaults and a sex offense. He was released in October last year after earning diminution credits.
