The Former President of the US Jimmy Carter celebrated his 99th birthday on Sunday. The event was a surprise to many as he has been going through much in the last half a decade. The birthday party took place in the same house where Carter lived before, he was elected to Georgia senate.

Joined by his wife, Rosalynn, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, the Carters celebrated in their modest one-story house, before him winning his first Georgia senate seat.

Carter’s birthday was a family gathering that clearly defied earlier reports of Jimmy Carter entering home hospice care, showcasing his resilience. The family announced in 2023 that the President decided to remain in hospice care, hinting at deterioration of health.
